Julianna is a Southern California native and curl specialist based in Echo Park, Los Angeles, where she has been working with her own curly clientele since 2024. She has been part of the curly hair salon world since 2018 and has worked behind the chair since 2021. Before returning to LA, she spent nearly a decade in the Bay Area, where she built the foundation of her craft and community — and she continues to travel back once a month to see clients in Alameda.

Her curl journey began during her freshman year at SFSU after years of straightening and mistreating her natural hair. After earning her degree in Psychology, she realized she wanted a career rooted in self-care, empathy, and creativity — a path that led her to hairstyling. Embracing her curls became a liberating experience, one that fuels her mission to help others honor and celebrate their own hair.

Julianna is passionate about education, empowerment, and personalized curl care. She creates tailored curl plans to fit each client’s lifestyle and desires, while providing the tools and knowledge needed for long-term success.

Her chair is a safe, inclusive space for all textures and curl patterns. She thrives on building meaningful connections and supporting her clients’ journeys with trust, joy, and compassion.
